Rear Glass for Cars
Parked in Shared Lots
SUVs, hatchbacks and sedans parked in apartment lots and condo garages often have bags, laptops or beach gear in the back. Their rear glass carries a defroster grid, antenna lines or a rear wiper, and often privacy tint, so we match every one of those to your VIN before a technician comes out.
Send your VIN and a photo of the opening, and we'll quote the exact rear glass for your model and trim before anyone comes out.
Don't Ignore
Back Glass Damage

Walking out to a smashed rear window in your own lot is a rough start to the day. Report it to police, take photos from a few angles, then tape plastic over the opening before the afternoon rain arrives.
Here's why you shouldn't delay getting a back glass replacement:
Compromised Visibility
Plastic over the opening blocks your view behind, and on I-95 or the Dolphin at rush hour, that's the one view you need most for every merge, exit and lane change.
Structural Weakness
With the rear glass gone, the car can't be locked or sealed. Check the frame for pry marks, which can stop new glass from seating properly.
Rain and Humidity Get In
Afternoon storms in Miami arrive fast. Without the rear glass, rain soaks the cargo area and humidity fogs the cabin until new glass is fitted.
Why Miami Drivers
Call Us After a Break-In?
After a break-in, there's a police report, a landlord and an insurer. We take the rear glass off that list.
Glass Cleared Out
Broken glass is vacuumed from seats, cargo areas, child seats and seat tracks.
Frame Checked
Pry damage around the opening is found before new glass goes in.
Defrosting and Defogging
The defroster grid and any rear wiper are reconnected and tested, so humid mornings and rain don't leave you blind behind.
Tint Matched
Factory privacy tint is matched, so what's in the back stays out of view.

Our Rear Glass Process After a Miami Break-In
Schedule Appointment
Send your VIN, a photo of the broken rear glass and where the car is parked. If you're in a gated lot or garage, tell us how the technician gets in. If a side window was also broken, mention it. We confirm the glass and send a free quote before booking.
Thorough Assessment
The technician checks the opening for pry marks or bent metal, inspects the seal and confirms the defroster, wiper and antenna connections. If body work is needed before glass can seal properly, we tell you right away and hold the glass until that work is done.
On-site Replacement
The work is done where your vehicle is parked, whether in your apartment lot, a garage or at work.
Safe Removal of Damaged Glass
Remaining glass comes out of the frame, and the seats, cargo area and child seats are vacuumed.
Back Glass Preparation & Installation
The opening is cleaned of old adhesive and primed, the new glass is set and sealed, and the defroster, antenna and rear wiper are reconnected and tested.
Quality Check & Final Touches
The technician tests the defroster and rear wiper, checks the seal and trim, and makes sure every door and the liftgate lock properly again before leaving. You get drive-away guidance and a written record of the work, with photos, for your police report and insurance claim.
Lifetime Workmanship Warranty on Eligible Miami Rear Glass
Request A QuoteEligible rear glass replacements carry a lifetime workmanship warranty, subject to current terms. It covers the installation itself, such as water getting in around the glass during an afternoon storm or trim that works loose. If you notice either at any point after the job, contact us and we'll come back to take a look. Keep the job record with your police report and claim number.
The warranty doesn't cover a second break-in. In shared lots and garages, the basics matter most: leave nothing visible, not even a charging cable, take bags and laptops inside every night, and ask your property manager about better lighting and cameras near where you park.

Break-In Claims
Glass broken in a break-in is usually a comprehensive claim, depending on your policy and its terms. Insurers often ask for a police report number and clear photos of the damage, so get both before any of the broken glass is replaced.
We work with most major insurance carriers and can help with the glass part of the claim. Since July 2023, Florida glass claims can't be assigned to a shop, so the claim stays in your name. Stolen bags and laptops are usually handled separately, often under renters coverage, so check that policy as well.
Frequently Asked Questions
Only briefly and carefully. Clear loose glass from the seats, tape plastic over the opening and take valuables inside. The car can't be locked securely until the glass is replaced.
