ADAS
Calibration in Phoenix
After New Glass

Under A.R.S. 20-264, any Arizona insurer selling comprehensive coverage has to offer a glass option with no deductible. For many Phoenix drivers, that makes a new windshield an easy call after a crack. The step that gets missed is the camera. On most late-model cars, the forward camera for lane keeping and automatic braking is mounted to the windshield, and when the glass changes, it has to be re-aimed to the maker's specification. Heat adds confusion too: some cameras pause when they get too hot, which looks like a fault but isn't a calibration problem.

We calibrate eligible cameras and supported radar at your home or office in Phoenix after glass work, with a written report.

When Does a New
Windshield Need Calibration?

Whenever a camera or sensor may have moved, which includes every windshield replacement. Your vehicle maker's procedure decides exactly when.

After Windshield Replacement

The camera bracket is bonded to the glass, so a new windshield puts the camera in a new position, even if only slightly. GM, for example, requires forward camera calibration whenever the windshield is replaced, and many other makers have similar requirements.

Collision or Fender-Bender

A parking-lot bump to the bumper or grille can shift a radar sensor without visible damage, and adaptive cruise may start braking late or for no clear reason on Loop 101.

Suspension or Wheel Alignment Work

New tires, an alignment or suspension work changes how the car sits, and with it how the camera reads the lanes ahead.

After Sensor or Camera Replacement

A new camera or radar unit is installed and programmed by a qualified repair facility first. We calibrate it afterward, so it's aimed where the maker specifies before you drive on the freeway.

Phoenix Calibration Quote & Timing

Your quote depends on the vehicle and the procedure. A car with both a windshield camera and front radar may need more than one calibration.

  • Vehicle year make and model
  • Calibration type (static, dynamic, or dual ADAS calibration)
  • OEM calibration requirements
  • System complexity and the number of sensors involved

Timing depends on the vehicle, the method, any fault codes the pre-scan finds and conditions on the day. Dynamic calibration needs clear lane lines and decent visibility, so blowing dust can push it back. We give you an estimate after reviewing your VIN and the glass work, and we won't promise a time we can't confirm.

Why Choose WindshieldHUB
for ADAS Calibration?

Before & After
Why ADAS Calibration Matters

A camera aimed slightly off rarely shows a warning light. Before calibration, lane keeping may drift toward one side and automatic braking may react late. After calibration, the camera points where the maker intended. A heat warning on a hot afternoon is different, and it usually clears once the cabin cools down. Calibration doesn't make a car self-driving.

Schedule Your ADAS Calibration

Send your VIN, ZIP code and the date your windshield was replaced. We'll confirm the procedure and the space it needs. Same-day calibration may be available depending on the procedure and weather. Until then, a sunshade helps keep the camera cooler.
